Are Jewish Feminists to Judaism as Satanists are to Christianity? Judith Plaskow and Jay Michaelson Say Yes.

I would agree with them. I never understood the idea that Judaism could be reconciled with egalitarianism.

But if the goal is, rather, to undermine Judaism, then it all makes a lot more sense.

Judith Plaskow, with her new book, “The Coming of Lilith: Essays on Feminism, Judaism, an Sexual Ethics 1973-2003″, is open that her goal is not spiritual, but subversive, as reviewed by Jay Michaelson in this week’s Forward demonstrates.

And that’s - honesty.

We should all recognize Jewish Feminism for what it is, just as this important thinker of the Jewish Feminist movement does.
