Un-Orthodox Jew Goes After Child Molester
I don’t know the details of the case, but apparently, a child molester is being protected by the yeshiva he teaches at in Brooklyn, and numerous complaints have been dismissed by the administration. UOJ is sending a letter out to various institutions, and encouraging people to copy and send the letter to everyone they know in the community.
This could be a telling sign of the power of a Haredi community to stonewall versus the ability of the Internet to rally the accusers.
Regardless, on some level, shit’s going down.

As an insider to two cases of accusation of molestation in the right-wing world, I can tell you one was authentic and one was not.
In the authentic one, a boy in one of the yeshiva was molesting younger boys. When it was discovered it was stopped.
In the other case, a rabbi was accused of infidelity, but it turned out to be the campaign of a very unstable individual which exploded into classic rumor-mongering, accusation and downright evil.
I believe it’s perfectly possibe that the accusations on UOJ are true, but I am not convinced they are. Luckily, I have no children or know of anyone’s children who go to that place. If it’s true, I hope it comes out publicly and the guilty parties get skewered. I just have no way from my place of knowing it it’s true.

These accusations are not only accurate the molester Rabbi Yidi Kolko merely claims he no longer fondles boys.
This has been an open secret in the Brooklyn Orthodox community for decades. High time these issues are dealt with in the open.
