Not Resting (Enough) Til the Seventh Day
We all know that lack of sleep can affect us in a debilitating way not unlike alcohol. But tests reported on CNN’s 360° begin to quantify the ration of sleep debt into the level of drunkenness.
If you have been up for more than 20 hours, your reflexes are roughly comparable to those of someone with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08, which in many states is enough to be considered legally drunk[….]Sleeping only six hours a night for a week makes you as tired on the seventh night as if you had had no sleep at all.

I don’t understand this.
As if you had no sleep for a week?
Or as if you had no sleep the night before?
That sleeping only 6 hours a night for six nights is like going all night without sleep the night before, but had slept normally the rest of the week.
