What We Have Here is a Failure to Communicate

So Haaretz referenced a Thursday poll, ostensibly taken by the LBC, which claimed the following.

Some 96 percent of Shiites expressed support for the abduction of the Israeli soldiers, as did 73 percent of Sunnis, 54 percent of Christians and 40 percent of Druze. Most of the participants in the poll felt that Israel will not be able to defeat Hezbollah.

96%! And more than half of the Maronite Christian community!

How are we possibly going to fight that?

Well, Zvi Ba’rel suggests the following:

Israel might find itself caught in a situation similar to the one it has faced in the territories since it chose to give up its partner: a direct, long-term occupation.

That will help? How will that help? The Israelis tried that already. In Lebanon.

Insanity is trying the same thing again, and expecting a different result.

Shoah education can be fun!

Finally, it has happened.

So get decked out. Bring a date.

We will go to the Fatherland, and enjoy a Holocaust musical!

It is called “The Last Letter.

Which is goyish and European.

If it opens on Broadway, it will be renamed “The Living Letter.

“Anybody who is for-got-ten….diiiies…a second… time“

Where I’ve Been

Sorry to disappoint, but I’ve simply been putting my efforts into Jewschool lately. Which isn’t to say I won’t ever post here. It is just to say the posts will be less frequent than they once were.

There is only so much time, and I believe that there is more to be gained by working with others compared to a solo effort.

At least most of the time.

But sometimes you need a private moment. And sometimes there are things you prefer to say off the beaten path. So for those who know to do so, feel free to check in.
