NCSY and Wikipedia
NCSY, like their brother Big Aish, is controlling wikipedia pages like they own it. Like it’s our public schools or something. Anyway, please tell everyone you know that NCSY is blocking all facts about Baruch Lanner on this public site.
This is what “Jon,” a hateful person who claims to be a high level administrator an NCSY, keeps deleting.

So I have an idea. If this continues, and NCSY does what “Jon” promises, to remove as many times as possible anything uncomfortable to NCSY, let us retaliate, and have a Baruch Lanner Day.
I think NCSY got away much too long submerging information about Baruch Lanner, and their role enabling and abetting him. They continue to do so today, by purging wikipedia’s page on NCSY of any information on this long and dark chapter of their history. I say, “no more!”

See thats all you know how to do is lie. I said i would kepe removing it until we came to an agreement as to the way it is posted, because thats how things work on wiki.

And i agree with a Lanner day. Lets have it, we should make EVERYONE aware so that it never happens again. See you see me as someone who doesnt want anyone to know about lanner. On the contrary MY WIFE WAS GROPED BY HIM!!! So we can talk about him but it has to be worked out how to say it NOT the biased way you do

I wonder if he will act like all righteous and full of remorse and maybe spend some time in Big aish, grow a beard, and act all rehabbed. Then Big aish will give him of of those many 6 figure jobs that they have in aish NY.
Wikipedia did the same thing with Ner Israel. They took off all mentions of Matis Weinberg and the rest of the gang of child molesters attached to that yeshiva.
Seeing as how wikipedia is a joke and cannot tell the truth in any matter especially those that relate to Judaism (it is notoriously anti-Semitic, anti-Zionist, anti-anything that isn’t so far to the left it worships Hamas for starters), why not simply file your protest and move on to better sites? Wikitruth would be one to also share your protest and conservapedia.com would be another place to post an entry, as i’m sure no entry exists there as of yet. The more people who use Conservapedia. the more it will become and important resource, and will have the truth (The truth that wikipedia only claims to have but never does).
Conservapedia? Teri, I’m sorry, but you’re a little nuts. Wikipedia is what people make of it. If you feel there’s bias there, the way to deal with it is to jump in with both feet and a bunch of sources to back up your argument, not to defect to what will forever be a very pale one-trick pony imitation. Having spent a lot of time involved in editing and contributing to wikipedia’s Jewish section I’d be very interested in seeing some of your examples of antisemitism over there.
Don’t feel so bummed out, DK. Back when I still had time for wikipedia, I spent most of my time including unsavory (and meticulously documented) details about haredi leaders. Sometimes they got deleted; sometimes I got cursed out in Yiddish. But enough appeals to the moderators and sourcing of my material eventually got them in. In fact, back in the heyday of the Satmar feud I saw plenty of news articles that had plagiarized the article. “Hey, I remember that line… I wrote that line!”
i knew rabbi lanner pretty well. he was a brilliant man, a fantastic teacher, and he also did something very wrong. he paid for it by losing his job, going to jail, and having his reputation ruined. whether he will have remorse and be truly sorry when he comes out of jail is not for us to decide or to judge. he paid his price. now let him move on and let him be.
So you would be comfortable with having your kids hang out with him?
