What kind of Jew would a neo-Nazi make?

Probably not Reform, right? Not LWMO either. Rather, either far-right religious Zionist, or better yet, Haredi.

One master race is as good as the next, I suppose.

what are u implying by this? are u implying there is very little to go between nazis and haradis? if so…you crossed a line. Now who is exploiting the holocaust?

I cannot imagine the amount of tears this man must have shed in the moment of realization when the shock, anger, and denial had crested and he was being swept sadly into acceptance. There’s a moment when you’ve done something wrong and your conscience hits and you just don’t feel like living anymore. How can you with what you did? I feel for this lost guy.

As far as charedi and Nazi go, the description is apt for baal teshuva as it would be for BACs (Born Again Christians). Most the of the rank and file of all them are not so much inventors of the dogma as followers of the dogma, and the newer to the rank and file with the stronger the emotional event(s) leading to joining/rejoining, the more the tendency for being an over the top overdoing it sort of person. A zealot.

The DIFFERENCE is that G-d willing the religious leaders will use that not cynically as the Nazis did to advance their power using the mob (much like the Roman emperors did) but use that zeal to further the faith, and over time temper that zeal with calm experience without going the other way and driving them back away again. What is riding on the Jewish community with men like this is the bountiful emotional energy they bring and the precarious position that it is in, where it can spill all over the entirely wrong places and ways. G-d put that energy in each of us for a reason, so it must be important, and we know what cynically misused and exploited zeal creates… Nazis.

irony is fun, especially when it happens to someone else. but had he wanted to stay a neo nazi he could have joined kahane chai.

mohammed,

You’re right, in terms of choice A — but in terms of choice B?
