Orthodox Jew in Coma After Black Muslim Gang Beats Him With Metal Bars
The JTA reports,
A Paris teen is in a coma after being beaten in what French Jewish leaders are calling an anti-Semitic act.
The 17-year-old boy was beaten over the head with metal bars Saturday night in eastern Paris. Media reports offered varying figures on the number of attackers, who were black, ranging from six to 30.
They smashed his skull.
Why would the press feel these black gangs were anti-semitic and targeted this young man (who was wearing a yarmulke) because he was Jewish?
The National Bureau of Vigilance Against Anti-Semitism said that Jewish community leaders in the low-income 19th district of Paris had warned officials last week about groups of young blacks wandering through the neighborhood park threatening to attack Jews.
So anyway, please join the mainstream Jewish community in fighting to keep immigration to this country open to everyone, and let’s all find a way to blame this on the racism of white French people–and not the poor African-Muslim gangs who themselves are clearly only acting out from understandable socio-economic frustration by seeking out individual Jews to attack.
Do you know how many mainstream American Jewish organizations have rethought their position on immigration, and decided that maybe massive Muslim immigration is not in our interest?
That would be zero.

Even if he did hold the same kind of prejudice for Jews of other streams as you’ve clearly demonstrated in yourself, does that somehow justify him being savagely beaten?

Don’t put yourself in danger of sounding just as hardline Haredi as the Haredim. Otherwise you might eventually feel compelled to build yourself an enclave with like-mindedly bigoted, ignorant, bitter, jerks with violence inspired schadenfreude. You could probably share parks with the tznius brigade who spilt acid on that 14 year old girl.
these orthodox are arrogant to the core, and now they have to deal with religious nuts who are even more arrogant.

ok fine i’ll stop, the orthodox are going to continue to bitch and whine about religious tolerance while they continue to maintain that reform and conservative judaism is unauthentic and attending reform and conservative lifecycle events and synagogues is ”assur” and getting romantically involved with reform and conservate jews is ”assur.”
when it comes to religious tolerance, the orthodox are full of “do what I say not what I do.”
of course, religious “intolerance” is a matter of arrogance, not standards. the problem with saying someone has a room temperature IQ in this weather is that it gives them too much credit.

Do you see the distinction between being intolerant of somebody’s opinions, and being intolerant of somebody’s very existence? It just of well could have been you they were coming after. Muslims extremists don’t usually distinguish between frum and not frum. They were just happy to club a Jew. It’s kind of perverse that instead of condemning their actions you are reveling in them.
of course, religious “intolerance” is a matter of standards, not fanaticism, ignorance, self interest and hate.

When Orthodox intolerance of other movements is violent let me know. Until then, this is about actual physical violence and lack of societal stability in France. That nation has of late taken its hands off the wheel with respect to Muslims and in some Muslim dominated neighborhoods, will not send cops.
This is clearly bigoted in that they obviously don’t believe the Muslims are capable of being or likely to be peaceful like everyone else, that those Muslims who might need their police services are not important to risk any perceived threat, and dysfunctionally wussy in that France can pick and choose places inside their borders to maintain civil peace and others not to.
Remember the hysteric 80’s ideas about a crime plagued future, especially like Robocop? We never had that. Even in the face of the Crips and the Bloods going at it tooth and nail, the cops didn’t stay away from some neighborhoods and give them up.
France is giving up to HYPOTHETICAL dangers of a community they don’t understand, but then France sits next door to Belgium and they don’t understand them either.
