A wonderful, though painful story for Gitty. Unfortunately true, as the frum people have no compunction about stealing children from their mother to try to keep the children ignorant of the real world.

Stealing? It’s his kid too. I know that there are some elements on this site who refuse to see Hareidim as human beings- but believe it or not, they actually have rights in this country. It’s his kid too. The woman just ran off with her. Does that mean that she is also guilty of “stealing”? They are in the midst of a custody dispute, and the judge (temporarily at least) has found the father to be the more fitting parent (rightly or wrongly). Therefore, lawfully, he didn’t steal the kid, but acted within his rights.

You apparently think there’s a “real” world. There isn’t. There’s a fucked up world, and the KJ world is slightly less fucked than most others.
