The ADL sure was right about Brenda Walker
October 25, 2009 Immigration, Satire, VDARE
I don’t mean to chew your ear off about this stuff, but as you know, I used to be angry at the ADL for smearing my friend, Brenda Walker. But the truth is, the ADL has a point. Ms. Walker does have an incorrigible habit of relaying outrageous events in our increasingly diverse western world. And so, I am offended.
Though not as offended as this guy.
Danish police said on Thursday that a Palestinian father had hit a primary school teacher and bitten his ear after he had shaken the hand of the man’s daughter.
I would just note that the vast majority of Muslim fathers do NOT bite the ears of their daughters’ teachers. So Ms. Walker should clearly stop claiming that ALL Muslim fathers bite their daughters’ teachers’ ears. And even if Walker made no such claim or anything like that, I am still offended (though in a non-mastication way) at generalizations about Muslim men who bite teachers’ ears to protect their daughters from the insult of a teacher’s greeting.
That guy who bit the teacher could just have easily been a Unitarian.

He bit his ear? Seriously? I mean, WTF goes through peoples’ minds? “How can I redress this outrage to my family’s honor? Shall I punch him? Berate him? Humiliate him publicly? I know – I’ll bite his ear!” Effing savages.
I’m surprised to hear it was a Palestinian, though. I thought they were a little more in touch with modernity.
Jeff, in Europe it hardly gets more extremist than those. Those that have got nothing to show for themselves tend to resort to faux ideologies.
I once shook the hand of a Chabad woman (who actually initiated it by extending hers). I guess I’m lucky to be alive.
Actually, if you’re a male teacher / professor, the policy is never to touch female students (for fear of abuse lawsuits). So I’m not sure what’s worse; having your ear bitten or standing through a sexual harrassment lawsuit.
GOD BLESS THE ADL!
