In NEW YORK CITY for crying out loud!
And contrary to standard fundamentalist Muslim dialogue on the issue, when the owner did not agree, he was threatened.
I laughed. And the guy said, “Oh, you think that’s funny?” And I said, “Yeah, that is funny, that is really funny, because we’re not going to move the bar just because you discovered we’re serving booze.” Can you name one restaurant in New York that doesn’t serve booze? I said, “This is the United States of America and we’ll do whatever the fuck we want.” He said the mosque had suggested it couldn’t control the behavior of “a few bad eggs”; i.e., we could get a brick through our window.
Oh, I don’t doubt that his mosque has “a few bad eggs” alright.
And with continued Muslim immigration, we’ll get a few bad eggs more.

You know what bothers me most about that post? I looked through the comments, and a lot of them are calling him intolerant and taking him to task for being an “asshole”.
I don’t know; maybe we’re just getting old.
The mosque’s “bad eggs” are only 70 years past due. During the Prohibition, many Christian Puritans would have spoke likewise.
And those Christians would have been trying to modify the behavior of their own countrymen, to save the souls of their own countrymen from a specific behavior.
… A little different from moving to a new country and trying to modify the behavior of people born in that country, because a whole host of aspects of the host culture are offensive to The Only God.
… And when Prohibition was enacted, penalties for making and drinking booze did not include stoning, smiting, or scourging.
