This reminds me of when Darfurian refugees were looking for a place to run, how only Israel was condemned for having a problem with unlimited acceptance of them? Egypt, Yemen, Saudi, they all kicked their out but if Israel so much as suggested limiting the influx, oh but don’t you remember the Holocaust?
Why is it that some countries seem obliged to take any refugees that come around while others quietly ignore wave after wave?
When was the last time Russia, a large country with lots of spare room, offered to help anyone out? Why can’t the Dominican Republic absorb any?
I think this is a great opportunity for America to offer some token funds to help resettle the refugees in more local countries.

Why? What?

I thought EV and Kelsey were responsible for the earthquake (Yiddish word of the day: erdtsitternish), so of course any refugee inclined to do so should be lodging at Kelsey’s or EV’s. :)
