J.A.Y. plays into the social liberal game

One of the great lies in our society is that if you are right-wing on discrimination against the majority population, you will probably be (very) right-wing on economic issues.

I could give you plenty of examples of people who are not like that, but the real issue is that it ignores the divide that has existed between the Great Societyniks and the New Dealers since racial Marxism ascended.

Because diversity is not just our greatest strength…

…it must increasingly dominate the frontline of our emergency services. And if that means lowering standards for admission, so be it.

Because nothing quite guarantees “safety” like lower standards.

Leroy Comrie, the Deputy Majority Leader of The NYC Council, is working to make this utopia happen.

Please read my newest satire on Jewcy.

Will the Jews of Westchester fight the powers that be?

Al Shanker stood up to the race hustlers. Will Westchester?

Al Shanker stood up to the race hustlers. Will Westchester?

Property values lost, public schools rendered inadequate, when will the Jews fight the radical Jews pushing “diversity”?

Remember Canarsie. Remember Brownsville. But also remember Al Shanker. Learn from Ed Koch.

They weren’t afraid to be called names.

Remember Jewish neighborhoods that existed in almost every major metropolitan city in this country. The destruction of the Jewish neighborhood in the U.S. is always accomplished with the sweetest words, words of promise and hope for the downtrodden and “those who have the least.” Jewish neighborhoods and communities remain a convenient pawn of the far-Left to be sacrificed in their unremitting war on “racism.”

If our co-religionists in Westchester cannot find the strength to fight, there is little we can do for them. But if they raise their voices, and fight back, and break the imposed PC silence, we must answer their cries, and fight alongside them.

A plague of low-income diversity for Westchester

The NY Times reports,

Westchester County entered into a landmark desegregation agreement on Monday that would compel it to create hundreds of houses and apartments for moderate-income people in overwhelmingly white communities and aggressively market them to nonwhites in Westchester and New York City.

Steve Sailer asks,

Clearly, it’s supposed to go very heavily to blacks and Hispanics, but to which blacks and Hispanics? Whose friends and relatives get the nod?

Truth is, this could prove a good thing. If rich liberals — like say, our co-religionists in Scarsdale — are forced to reckon with the endless “benefits” of diversity from affordable housing targeting minorities, perhaps they will rethink the whole concept.

Am I being too optimistic?

Jews fought these measures in Forrest Hills, but have traditionally succumbed, just like Westchester has. Many of the villages targeted are heavily Jewish. This will take its toll over time.

You can thank these race hustlers for this one.

Some Hate Crimes are More Equal than Others

The Stateman reports,

Police are investigating a brick with an offensive message thrown into the window of an East Austin home.

The brick, thrown through a 4-year-old boy’s bedroom window, read “Keep Eastside Black. Keep Eastside Strong.”

Police have not classified this incident as a hate crime, said Austin Police Sgt. Richard Stresing, because hate crimes target an individual specifically because of an identifying characteristic, like race.

Yup. It’s pretty vague, alright. Could be about anything, really.

I hope this four-year old understands that we have to understand this incident in a contextualized manner. The reality is, gentrification even in our devolving economy remains a threat to communities of color, and excluding socio-economics as a possible primary motivating factor would be quite unfair to the assailant.

The ADL explains,

It’s difficult to count how many hate crimes occur in Austin because people often don’t report them, said Lisa Goodgame, director of the Austin chapter of the Anti-Defamation League. She said many people are too afraid to approach law enforcement officials or human rights agencies about their situations.

And because the police often don’t record minority on majority hate crimes as such when they do report them. Right, Ms. Goodgame?

The Promotional Whitewash

If you have ever had a debate with well-to-do racial or gender Marxists, you will find that they often protest at the idea that white men could ever be discriminated against in any significant way. They can’t be bothered empathizing. They want to help the underdog. Because they’re soooooo wonderful.

Leaving aside the many other significant and deleterious effects that affirmative action has upon our society, the reality is that affirmative action disproportionately comes out of the hide of the lower classes.

Who is Frank Ricci? And why was he so determined to get promoted instead of offering his future as a sacrifice to the insatiable black hole of redressing historical grievances? Isn’t he a patriotic person? Is he a Klansman?

Well..not quite. George Will explains that Ricci…,

had prepared for the exams by quitting his second job, buying the more than $1,000 worth of books the city recommended, paying to have them read onto audiotapes — he is dyslexic — and taking practice tests and interviews. His efforts earned him the sixth-highest score.

No wonder this man was so infuriated that he didn’t get what he had coming to him when the city of New Haven scuttled the test scores.

So you may be wondering…what’s the Jewish issue here? Well, I wish there wasn’t one. I wish it was a stretch. But there is one, and it’s critical. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg dissented, noting, “they had no vested right to promotion. Nor have other persons received promotions in preference to them.”

But that’s simply not true. It was a promotional whitewash. How can Ginsburg claim differently?

Race and Gender are so very important to the ADL in terms of judicial “perspective”

The ADL noted the following within their press release on Sonia Sotomayor’s nomination.

We applaud President Obama for having selected this noted jurist to be the Court’s first Hispanic and third woman Justice. If confirmed, she will undoubtedly bring an important new perspective to the work of the Court.

Who gives a damn? Seriously…why am I supposed to think a so and so’s such and such is so important to this line of work? Why is the ADL so ecstatic? Well…we know why the ADL is so horny for Sotomayor. Because the ADL reckons that this “important perspective” will mean an expansive understanding of Hate Crimes laws, which means…more crimes will be deemed Hate Crimes. And that means more manufactured hysteria, a greater platform to condemn anti-semitism among “all forms of intolerance,” and more scare letters fundraising opportunities.

Critics of the ADL like to claim that the ADL promotes what is “good for the Jews,” and not what is good for the country. But this is giving the ADL far too much credit. In fact, the ADL promotes what is good for the ADL, not what is good for the Jews.

They are just like HIAS, but it is harder to see. [Read more →]

A New Term for White Discrimination Laws

I am rather wary of this Nicholas Stix guy for two reasons.

1) He is more right-wing than I am.
2) He appears to be wittier than I am.

I could possibly forgive him for the first reason, as the “no friends to the right” policy is an American rule only in force for Republicans, so I am probably exempt.

But the second reason is far less excusable.

Now, the incorrigible Stix has deemed discriminatory laws and policies against whites as “Jim Snow” laws. I will be using this term frequently, and wanted to give Stix credit where it’s due, despite my burning resentment at not having come up with it myself.

Anyway, nice going, Nick. For real.

Preventing Another Great Travesty of Justice

The hate crime bill that passed the house is necessary because of the travesty of justice, that in 1998, allowed the murderers of Matthew Shepard to receive a mere slap on the wrist. That is why this bill is named the Matthew Shepard Act!

How bad was it? Well, Matthew Shepard was tortured and killed in Wyoming just for being gay.

And because we didn’t have a federal law prohibiting such behavior, his murders and torturers were essentially exonerated! All they got was…hold on a sec, I’ll get the details, okay..so the absurdly light sentences were:

Russell Arthur Henderson pleaded guilty to felony murder and kidnapping, allowing him to avoid the death penalty. Aaron James McKinney was convicted of felony murder and kidnapping. Henderson is currently serving two consecutive life sentences and McKinney is serving the same but without the possibility of parole.

Huh. Well…what injustice is this Matthew Shepard Act preventing, exactly? I thought it was just barely illegal to kill and torture gay people…but shockingly, it seems that the existing laws against murder and violence ALREADY covers gay people as well, and ostensibly, even handicapped people.

Who knew?

Affirmative Action on Fire

Often when decrying affirmative action, I bring the example of medical practitioners. But affirmative action can kill in many fields.

Like say, with firemen.

Steve Sailer explains that unfortunately, the Obama administration is defending affirmative action, demanding a jettison of tests which do what they are supposed to do: ensuring that only the competent are promoted.

No blacks scored high enough to qualify for promotions. On the Lieutenants’ exam, the mean black score would have fallen at the 20th percentile among whites. (Hispanics scored the same as blacks). On the harder Captain’s exam, the mean black score fell at the 10th percentile for whites, while the average Hispanic scored at the 18th percentile.
[...]
There is nothing surprising or anomalous about these percentiles. They’re almost identical to blacks’ and Latinos’ results on professional school tests such as the LSAT used by law schools and the MCAT employed by medical schools.
[...]
This leads to even more pretzel logic. Thus New Haven claimed that it wasn’t discriminating against white firemen—it was just trying to avoid being sued for discriminating against blacks!
[Links deleted: see them on VDARE.]

What kind of person puts affirmative action over the improved safety of the population that is supposed to be being served? The kind of person who doesn’t plan on being caught in a fire. That’s who.
