Another Muslim Bites Man Story

This time, it wasn’t an ear, it was a finger. Of a rabbi. The rabbi lost part of his finger.

Israel National News reports,

A Muslim man attacked a Chabad rabbi Saturday night as he was conducting the annual ceremony to light the public Chanukah menorah in Stefenfaltz Square in the city of Vienna, Austria.

The attacker hurled himself at Rabbi Dov Gruzman, principal of the city’s Jewish school run by the Chabad-Lubavitch Chassidic movement, and began punching him, a local resident told Arutz Sheva.

As the rabbi tried to hold off his attacker, the Muslim suddenly bit his victim, severing part of his finger in the process.

Out of respect for my sensitive friends at Jewlicious, Jewschool, and Jewcy, I feel obligated to remind my readers that the vast majority of Muslim do not bite people, and it just as easily could have been a Unitarian who did this. As always, he just happened to be Muslim.

Gruzman told Arutz Sheva that the Muslim had raced towards the entrance at the beginning of the ceremony and began to curse the Jews who were there and the Jewish people in general.

One day, Jews will begin to ask harsh questions about why we ever thought mass immigration of Muslims to the U.S. was a good idea, considering our conflict. The answer will be that we had no idea this would turn out to be such a problem. No idea at all.

How could we have known?

Not to beat a dead cow, but….

Like most of you, I am shocked (shocked!) at Failed Messiah’s find that the wonderful men of Agriprocessors are Messianics.

Never the less, the issue of whether or not they are considered outside traditional Judaism from a halachic perspective is not so clear to the frummies. For those of you who are curious as to where the RWMO and the LWUO draw the line, please see Rabbi Gil’s previous post on this matter.

“I couldn’t do it”

Rivka Karasik, a woman I know casually though the usual heretical circuits, is featured in this week’s NY TimesOne in 8 Million” series. At a tender age, Rivka decided that the Chabad lifestyle was not for her, and neither was traditional Judaism generally.

We went out one evening a few years back, and I felt Rivka looked down on those of us who had actually elected to go through a baal teshuvah phase, but that may have been my own hypersensitivity. I myself kind of look down on the baal teshuvahs who came and left a bit. We really should have been focusing on other things during that time. It is people like Rivka who had no choice, and who truly sacrifice when they leave haredism. Our own parents are hardly disappointed when we leave ultra-Orthodoxy, and neither is our extended family. In fact, it’s a big simcha, and rightly so. But an FFB chassidic person doesn’t just leave everything. They leave everyone. And Rivka is not the daughter of BTs. She had to leave everyone except the small band of dissidents she walked out with.

I think of my maternal great-grandparents who left traditional Judaism because it was oppressive, and realize how lucky I truly am. If I met my great-grandmother today, I would thank her for leaving halachic Judaism, a system codified by a man so ambitious and willing to manipulatively play on the superstition of the masses that he claimed his work on Kabbalah was dictated by an angel. That is the man who codified Jewish law. He is revered by all Orthodox Jews. How dare you consider them backwards people!

And this is the grand, rational monotheistic faith the frummies demand we “return” to. This is why when a secular Jew and an ultra-Orthodox Jew come to a bridge that can only allow one person to pass, the ultra-Orthodox Jew must allow the secular Jew to cross first. For the secular Jew’s cart is always cleansed, an inventory taken, the contents updated. But the ultra-Orthodox Jew’s cart is filled with all sorts of ooky-spooky tsatchkes that he mistakes for treasures. The ultra-Orthodox Jew is a rat-packer. He can throw nothing away no matter how bad the stench.

The “face” of harassment

n509071772_14138_3868This is one of the dudes — “face” — who harassed me before I banned him, and continues to write vicious comments on Failed Messiah. As you can see by his affection for swinging a chicken, he is a chassidic, and I know from my research, a Chabadnik. For those of you who are not familiar with this holy chassidic tradition, you are really missing out on a great deal. The fact is, if you swing a chicken before Yom Kippur, you are forgiven of all your sins. As it is written, “And within the ten days preceding Shabos Shabason, though shalt swing your chicken publicly, and your sins shalt be like feathers of a pillow.”

We know from “within” that the holy swinging of the chicken should not be on the first (Rosh HaShana), and is not permitted on Yom Kippur itself. The great chassidic master the Khuchakavinshticker Rebbe also understood that the use of the word “within” suggests that Holy Chicken Swinging be performed on the day closest to the middle, preferably the fifth day, as that is closest to “within,” i.e., the middle.

Additionally, by “your” chicken, we understand that this means you must not swing someone else’s chicken, but it must be a chicken owned by you. For this reason, some rebbes claim that children of a young age should not have a chicken swung around their head, but must be at least of an age where they risk being molested at the mikvah.

I have decided not to reveal “face’s” name at this time, but I would note “face” is in-line with a few previous assumptions.

1) Orthodox internet trolls are disproportionately from Chabad.
2) Chabad men do things with chickens that a man should not do.
3) Chabadniks do not like color photographs.

“Face” is a reminder of the anger men have when they spend too much time swinging their chicken, for it is forbidden to choke one’s chicken.

Photograph supplied by “face” himself, after me confronting him with a photo that better showed his actual face, but did not have the added advantage of including a chicken.

Bris Avrohom celebrates 30 years of cutting penis

The New Jersey Jewish News reports,

For close to 30 years, Bris Avrohom has performed outreach to the Russian immigrant community, bringing many brought up under communism back to Judaism.

This month the Chabad-affiliated organization in Hillside marked a milestone: the 6,000 britot, or circumcisions, it has performed for boys and even grown men.

A circumcision celebration -- one of the 6,000?

A circumcision feast -- one of the 6,000?

Pshhhh…6,000 is a very significant number, of course. Did you know that the world itself has been around for less than 6,000 years? Oh, absolutely. And literally. We know this from our Gedoylim, who are all on a much higher level than we are. It’s a tenet of haredi Judaism. Circumcision is a special divine covenant just for the Jews, and to a lesser extent, the Muslims. No one else performed this ritual for religious reasons before we did. It started with us, with Abraham.

It was not already prevalent throughout East Africa. Anyone who says it was is a heretic.

And miracles happen to those who perform circumcision. It protects Jews. Just like it did in Poland!

She recalled how the family — her husband and son included — then walked through the deep snow to the Kanelskys’ home to pay their shiva call. The rebbitzin, Shterney Kanelsky, asked them to participate in another mitzva — to be “couple number one” at Bris Avrohom’s annual mass ceremony in which couples married under civil law are wed according to Jewish tradition. Deutsch, who had performed the double brit, stood with them under the huppa.

Their lives changed from that time, she said. She began to light Shabbat candles and stopped working on Shabbat, although she didn’t know where she would find other work. Within minutes of that decision, she said, her cellphone rang and she was offered her old job back — with longer and better hours.

Just the facts!

Just the facts!

WOW! What Jewish woman wouldn’t want her man and boys cut when such miracles readily occur for those who are?

The New Jersey Jewish News — just the facts. No hagiography, no maysehs. Just independent Jewish news from the finest Jewish newspaper in the northeast, if not the world.

How low will the Rubashkins go?

Failed Messiah picked out the following from a Des Moines Register article,

Lawyers for Rubashkin and Agriprocessors also asked a judge to move the case out of Iowa and divide it into three trials. James Clarity, a lawyer for Agriprocessors, said heavy publicity had created an atmosphere in Iowa similar to Nazi-occupied Poland.

Remember, despite everything, these sleazebags continue to be championed by the general Orthodox communal infrastructure. Demand that the Orthodox community generally and Chabad, Agudath Israel, the Orthodox Union, and the National Council of Young Israel denounce this egregious statements through press releases and official public statements!

I am sending an email to UOJ to plead with him to please spread the word to his large Orthodox readership to demand that Orthodox institutions distance themselves from what is essentially tantamount to Holocaust denial.

What is clearly needed is more Holocaust Museums, one each in Crown Heights, Monsey, Teaneck, Boro Park, Williamsburg, and just for good measure, Riverdale and the Five Towns. Additionally, Orthodox day schools, yeshivas, and seminaries must spend more time on Holocaust education in their curriculum. Orthodox Jewish Holocaust denial must stop! We must stand up to these frum revisionists, who pretend Nazi occupied Poland was like contemporary Iowa!

Show Solidarity! Fast Begins at Sunrise.

I don’t usually ask this of my readers, but I would like to call on you to show your support for one of the biggest tzaddikim of our generation. Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin has done more for our community that any business person, with the exception of our beloved Bernie Madoff. And yet he is being persecuted. Persecuted for the mere fact that he is a frumme yid, and one or two other minor indiscretions.

Many have claimed that what was done to Reb Sholom was like a pogrom. It was much worse. It was a mini-Auschwitz. And if playing the Jew-victim card helps, well, then it was like a Mengele twin experiment.

Every Orthodox Jew has a right to flee the States and run to Israel. As it is said, “When the going gets tough, the frum fly El-Al mehadrin.”

The fast to wipe away the evil decree of due process begins at sunrise. I will, of course, be offering my own supplications at the Ohel to Mashiach himself.

Haredi World Stunned — Boy Molested at Mikvah

A good place to bring your kids?

A good place to bring your kids?

No one would ever expect that a religious pervert would hang out at an all male mikvah, where hasidic men and boys walk around naked and dip (together) in the ritual bath. But shockingly, this is what happened.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — At 4:12pm, Friday, Erev Shabbos, a child called the Shomrim hotline asking for help. The child stated that he was just molested at the Empire Shtibel Mikvah and the perpetrator was still in the Mikvah.

The hassidim need to stop parading their naked kids around showing off their ruchnius tucheses, put their pants back on, and stop this homoerotic prone nonsense once and for all.

And they wonder why the Vilna Gaon banned the hasidim. Yes, yes, I know. Because he was a mean person WHO LISTENED TO LOSHAN HORA!!!!

New Eli Valley Comic Attacks Chabad. And the Tanya. And your Orthodox cousin Ari.

Eli Valley’s new comic published on Jewcy targets both Chabad and the Tanya, the most important Chassidic text.

Valley quotes the Tanya as declaring that gentiles have animal souls in order to explain Agriprocessors treatment of their non-Jewish workers. He also references the NCYI trip to Agriprocessors, where they claimed everything appeared to be A-OK, or rather, A-OU, as comparable in integrity to the Red Cross giving their own certificate of kashrut to Thereisenstadt.

In other Eli Valley news, the Forward just published his “1-In-5 Majority,” which gently ribs Orthodox Jews who leveled passionate denunciations against Obama and his Jewish supporters.
