Ben Atlas warns,

Be careful, multiple malicious sites recognizable by the title “Leib Tropper” are appearing on the 1st and 2nd pages of the Google “Leib Trooper searches. Firefox blocks the sites but I am not certain if the other browsers allow access. Your computer might be infected after visiting the sites.

FYI, Shmarya and I knew this guy was bad news a year and a half ago.

You may want to take a look at the comic I co-wrote a couple of years ago with Eli Valley in honor of Chanukah.

Eli and I were at a party yesterday, and he declined the latkes because of his contempt for the holiday. While I also do not wish to celebrate this Middle Eastern fundamentalist uprising that was proto-Islamicist in many ways, I have a problem turning down Askenazic culinary excellence. Especially when it is a potato-based product.

But if those horrible “sufganiot” things would have been served, I would have found the strength to decline on principal.

…it must increasingly dominate the frontline of our emergency services. And if that means lowering standards for admission, so be it.

Because nothing quite guarantees “safety” like lower standards.

Leroy Comrie, the Deputy Majority Leader of The NYC Council, is working to make this utopia happen.

Laws against blasphemous statements about his god…the Baal HaShoah.

One of the debates about the fight over at Hate Crimes is the contention that these laws are not just about reacting to violence, but actually seek to curb free speech, and the fighting words of the majority population.

It is hard not to have those suspicions when the Grand Rabbi of the Holocaustian community is lobbying for jail for revisionists.

The Jewish communal infrastructure has sought to seek a balance between the larger Jewish Left and the more active Jewish Right. That balance has traditionally been to adopt and promote the foreign policies of the Jewish Right, and the domestic policies of the Jewish Left.

Both the Jewish Left and the Jewish Right think they are fighting the good fight. But together, they are fighting American interests.

And not everyone is very happy that I have exposed that.

Remember, it is “hateful” to complain about Kiruv. Not just the general practice, but even the problematic tactics.

The deception. The lies. The misrepresentation. The ties with the haredim.

Anyone who details such practices just hates.

The JEC, which dominates Birthright Next NYC thanks to Michael Steinhardt’s 100% support of a family friend, does not appear to be very successful at all. At least, not by general Jewish communal standards.

But as Shmarya writes on Jewcy,

…there is one area the JEC does succeed in – furthering the goals of Ohr Somayach and other ultra-Orthodox missionary organizations. These organizations get access to Birthright alumni through Ohr Somayach’s proxy, the JEC. Its overall success rate might be poor, but those alumni the JEC does “succeed” with have a much higher chance of owning a black fedora or a wig than your average twenty-something Jewish New Yorker. And that is exactly what Ohr Somayach wants.

Let there be no confusion.
