Kvetcher Exclusive! Haredi Defense Positions Consensual Mixed Dancing as Proof of Sexual Abuse

Porn is more acceptable to the haredi than mixed dancing

There is a joke in Modern Orthodox circles that the rabbis banned upright sexual intercourse because “it can lead to mixed dancing.”

Unfortunately, as the apparent smear by Moses Greenfield and his lawyer Peretz Bronstein demonstrates (because we really need more proof that the haredim are challenged when it comes to ethics or sexual issues), the ultra-Orthodox truly appear to view mixed dancing as worse than non-penetrating pedophilia.

Clean and Sexy

This Intactivist site is so well done that it is barely perceptible as satire to many. In fact, “clean and sexy” has numerous Muslim friends, not just Intactivist ones.

Embedding is not enabled, apparently because of Youtube discrimination. But I hope my allies find a way to promote these videos.

This post is dedicated to our sometimes-more-PC-than-fair friends at Jewschool.

What do you think…

……of mandating a long-term, state-sponsored, reversible birth control procedure for those seeking extensive government benefits for their second child (excluding child illnesses, special situations, etc.)?

Keep in mind, they don’t have to take the government benefits. And they could wise-up after (or before) their first child and use non-invasive birth control techniques.

Gays Ramp Up Intactivism

The pro-circ defenders — not unheard of in my own community — will often attempt to intimidate intactivists into silence through a myriad of tactics. To express skepticism about circumcision is to invite personal attacks and innuendos upon one’s manhood.

But there is one group who won’t be intimidated into silence about expressing their opinions on all things penis: the queers. And frankly, they probably understand the pragmatic differences between cut vs. intact better than any of us.

The adoption of intactivism by the gay community as a pressing human and child rights issue will present a formidable challenge to the powerful circumcision industry and its lobbies. Whatever dubious (and downright bogus) studies the pro-circ communities will invoke to support continued MGM, the queers will remind everyone that something tangible and valuable is being discarded. And that is, of course, the often overlooked core of the matter.

No serious person can effectively dismiss the gay community’s expertise on all things penis. And no one is going to succeed in getting them to change the general subject.

Just trying to help the haredi Health Minister out

Heeb’s Jewdar eventually reported on Israel’s haredi health minister renaming the Swine Flu the Mexican Flu. As many of you may be aware, this same health minister also refuses to employ the term “vagina,” so I thought that I would help out with some new haredi-acceptable names for that part of a woman’s body as well, since we all know that contact with the aforementioned can lead to a terrible spiritual sickness far worse than the “Mexican” flu. But being, well, Heeb, and perhaps not having as Jewishly educated a readership as other Jewish sites (like say, ALL other Jewish sites), I fear that my suggestions may have gone a bit over Heeb readers’ heads.

Then again, maybe I’m just not funny.

You decide, and feel free to suggest your own.

In order to satisfy Israel’s devout new health minister, these are my suggestions for addressing the female sex organ formerly known as a vagina.

1. Where the Rebbe uses the bed
2. The Bais Yaakov graduate center
3. The Bush of Knowledge
4. The Inverted Black Hat
5. The Streimelet
6. Lilith’s Trap
7. The after-hours Kollel
8. The Layl Shabbos Double Feature
9. The Second Sheitel
10. Weapon of the Daughters of Mideon

Total genital excision found to reduce AIDS and some other STDs

Reacting to the results of a small study performed by Johns Hopkins Medical University upon a tribal people in Uganda, the U.N. and the W.H.O. have endorsed total genital excision of all people everywhere in order to curb HIV infections, and other STDs such as the HPV virus.

“This is a very promising study, and I think we need to pour billions of dollars into implementing it everywhere.” Said Dr. Arianne Horowitz.

P.E.P.F.A.R. is also investigating funding to remove children’s eyes in order to prevent onchocerciasis. Dr. Decocks explained that, “While this disease is presently limited in terms of its immediate magnitude to central and western Africa, it has already spread to Yemen as well, and it’s best not to take chances.” Decocks also noted that it is far easier for children to learn Braille than later in life.

Also under review is a U.N. sponsored program, piloted in Uganda, of amputating children’s hands to decrease the chances of rheumatoid arthritis in their senior years. The name of this program is called, “Operation Ibrahim.” Mufti Akhbar ibn Fatwah noted smugly, “We Muslims have known of the prophylactic health benefits of hand removal for thousands of years, but only now is the West finally catching up!”

Jewish doctor wants to slice half of Australia

Meet Dr. Alex Wodak. Doctor. Advocate. Jew.

Wodak is concerned. It turns out, AIDS is really taking a steep toll on Australia. They had a whole 1,051 new cases in 2006 (to 2007). Out of a mere 21 million people. Sound the alarms!

Oh, and only 64% of them are gay men. This means that over 375 new cases of of HIV were heterosexual. This is really something to go apeshit about. 375 people out of 21 million.

So Wodak has a modest proposal. Circumcise all Australian male babies.

Male circumcision has many other benefits apart from reducing HIV. These benefits may
include [but do not actually include] reducing [...] urinary tract infections [lies], penile cancer [no, not really], prostate cancer [does anyone serious actually even claim that?] and cervical cancer in female partners [bogus].

Wodak is a real moderate, though. He still allows for parents to have the right to say no, he just wants to lie to them about the need and the benefits of circumcision at all hospitals and health centers, and skew the medical system to a radically pro-circ position.

The Commonwealth Department of Health should revise the relevant Medicare items to reduce the current powerful financial disincentives to infant male circumcision.

We should aim to raise the rates of infant male circumcision to the levels which existed decades ago (while respecting the right of parents who do not wish to circumcise their infant sons).

Isn’t that respectful of him? Parents will still be legally allowed to say no. Well, in the U.S., they did not always have that right, now, did they?

Fact is, Jews the world over often have a tremendous bias towards amputating the foreskin. Gentiles should be aware of this, and get alternative opinions from non-Jewish doctors and researchers. Too often, the Jewish doctor is culturally and/or religiously biased. Jews should probably recuse themselves from this medical debate. Instead, they are inevitably at the forefront of advocacy groups demanding routine neonatal circumcision for male babies.

Always watch for the bogus shotgun reasons offered as secondary “benefits.” This is proof of their bias.

Update: Another pro-circ activist Jew, Joshua Amos, who is not at all culturally biased, since Jews are never like that when it comes to circumcision, has weighed in, and instructed Australia that the debate is over, and they need to circumcise all their sons.

Breslov War on Masturbation Spreads to Jewcy

Jewcy’s Lori Gross explains the *logic* behind Breslov’s campaign against self-pollution.

Gross writes,

Breslover Jews are particularly fearful of the spiritual ramifications of Onanism. Rebbe Nachman himself purportedly married soon after his Bar Mitzvah in order to avoid cowing to his urges. He also compiled ten psalms for incantation (in this order: Psalms 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137, and 150) for what he called the “general fix”, which (among other sins) constitute a special spiritual remedy for nocturnal emissions.

To be sure, the mainstream ultra-Orthodox community is staunchly against masturbation. However, for penance, most modern rabbis would recommend Torah study and charitable donations rather than the 84 fasts for each one session demanded by one of Talmud’s sages.

We can look askance at the Breslovers’ obsession with male sexual purity, and the draconian punishment of 84 fasts, or we can consider that the original source for such an obsession in the first place.

The fact is, normative Judaism promises an early death at the hands of heaven for the sin of male masturbation. According to traditional commentaries, and verified by modern medical science, circumcision is meant to “help” a person “control his evil inclination” by decreasing the sexual experience, and obliterating tactile touch enjoyment. This is a similar reason invariably attached to ritual genital mutilation in all societies, and in all cultures that practice it. The fact that it is not efficacious does not mean it doesn’t have tangible deleterious effects.

The Breslovers may, in fact, make the most sense when viewed in context of sexual prevention. We do not cut off a child’s thumb so he does not kill. We do not cut out part of his tongue to he does not speak evil. We do cut off part of his penis and stress that he remain sexually pure.

Breslov is in line with traditional Jewish emphasis on this matter, as well as the the approach of Eastern African and Islamic societies. The reason we disagree is not because we think Breslov is radical, but because we pretend that Judaism is significantly different in this regard.

Now, you can retort that in fact, normative Judaism doesn’t actually consider murder and rape worse than male masturbation as the Breslovers claim.

But that’s because we are such a wonderful and moderate civilization.

Haredi World Stunned — Boy Molested at Mikvah

A good place to bring your kids?

A good place to bring your kids?

No one would ever expect that a religious pervert would hang out at an all male mikvah, where hasidic men and boys walk around naked and dip (together) in the ritual bath. But shockingly, this is what happened.

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — At 4:12pm, Friday, Erev Shabbos, a child called the Shomrim hotline asking for help. The child stated that he was just molested at the Empire Shtibel Mikvah and the perpetrator was still in the Mikvah.

The hassidim need to stop parading their naked kids around showing off their ruchnius tucheses, put their pants back on, and stop this homoerotic prone nonsense once and for all.

And they wonder why the Vilna Gaon banned the hasidim. Yes, yes, I know. Because he was a mean person WHO LISTENED TO LOSHAN HORA!!!!

Why rely on condoms, vaccines, and taking personal responsibility when we can be like Judah Maccabee and just circumcise all the males?

Jewish policy wonk: We need more cutting. More!

Many of us have been suspicious that the incursion into Africa to circumcise the non-Muslim blacks – with the help of a Jewish (and Muslim) cloak and dagger team (all in the name of Tikkun Olam!) – was at least in part about challenging the declining circumcision rates in the U.S.

At least some are beginning to see the need to take their war on foreskin back home.

The Jewish owned U.S. News and World Report claims, in a fair and unbiased article neutrally entitled “Circumcision Rates Too Low,”

“There’s a good case to be made that circumcisions can protect our children,” said study author Arleen A. Leibowitz (!), a professor of public policy at the University of California, Los Angeles. “If you can alleviate the cost of the procedure, then people are more likely to adopt it.”

What is the “good case” to be made?

Critics say circumcision is brutal and robs males of sexual sensation, but many in the medical community point to research that suggests circumcision reduces the risk of sexually transmitted diseases such as AIDS and the virus that can cause cervical cancer.

AIDS can be prevented much more effectively through the use of condoms. Much more effectively. As for “the virus that can cause cervical cancer,” there is a vaccine that is much more effective.

But why rely on such non-invasive methods when we can overemphasize circumcision, foist it unto gentiles, get the government to flip the bill, and smugly note to one another (oh yes we do!), “Medical science is only now recognizing the health benefits of circumcision, but we Jews have known this for thousands of years!” (Best delivered in a condescending and self-congratulatory/knowing tone, preferably.)

In this article, there was no dissent offered to circumcision on prophylactic grounds.

Gentiles need to be aware that American Jewish editors often retain a cultural bias towards a pro-circ platform, no matter what their denomination or level of religious affiliation. To some degree, they echo the expansive mass circumcision policies of Judah Maccabee.
