He's a badass from Syracuse, not the Chicago Josh Hoyt

Daryle of One People’s Project has confirmed — Josh Hoyt of One People’s Project is not the same as the Chicago Joshua Hoyt.

For my suggestion that the Syracuse Josh Hoyt is behind the successful coalition against AMREN and that he is a bigger badass than Jeffrey Imm, Imm has begun a smear campaign to show me who’s boss.

I would just like to remind all interested parties that my views on immigration are in-line with my community. Additionally, I would note that I am hardly the only person to link or reference Steve Sailer. David Brooks of the NY Times, TNR, and Slate have all referenced Steve Sailer.

I don’t mean to chew your ear off about this stuff, but as you know, I used to be angry at the ADL for smearing my friend, Brenda Walker. But the truth is, the ADL has a point. Ms. Walker does have an incorrigible habit of relaying outrageous events in our increasingly diverse western world. And so, I am offended.

Though not as offended as this guy.

One of the problems with this country is that there is just too much damned free speech. People think they have a right to disagree with Abe Foxman. Well, they do, PROVIDING they are extremely polite, and obsequious to boot. Of course, Abe has the right to call you every possible synonym for fascist in the book like an infuriated Bolshevik at CCNY after a white person disputes present day institutionalized racism, but that’s because Abe is on the side of tolerance. And, he has special protective minority status, and you bastards are all really just a bunch of crypto-Nazis. And that goes for me too when I disagree with PC Dear Leader Foxman. Like right now.

The Washington Post reports,

U.S. civil rights leaders said yesterday that an increase in hate crimes committed in recent years against Hispanics and people perceived to be immigrants “correlates closely” to the nation’s increasingly contentious debate over immigration.

“Reasonable people will disagree . . . but the tone of discourse over comprehensive immigration reform needs to be changed, needs to be civil and sane,” said Michael Lieberman, Washington counsel for the Anti-Defamation League.

The reality is, the ADL doesn’t recognize ANY “reasonable disagreement.” They speak, and you shut your mouth. Or they will smear you like they the smeared Brenda Walker, a critical voice from the Left who opposes mass immigration.

What has Brenda Walker done to deserve and ADL smear campaign? Has she spread conspiracy theories of any kind? Has she denounced Israel’s right to exist?

No, my friends, nothing like that. But Walker has done something much worse. Ms. Walker has questioned the wisdom of mass immigration of Muslims to the U.S.

The ADL notes the following words of Walker which are clearly beyond the pale:

Rather than addressing immigration policy, Walker employs virulent stereotypes to argue that Muslims pose a threat to the security of the West. In a March 2008 VDare blog post, Walker claimed, “Some cultures are simply incompatible. The West and Islam can never live together because Muslims despise our society and the hard-won liberties we treasure: free speech, representative government under law, individual rights and gender equality. Continuing to welcome them as immigrants is madness – a kumbaya fantasy that severely endangers our safety.”

Oh. My. G-d. I’m OFFENDED! Someone fetch me my Havdalah spice box! I can’t remain sitting, I’m dizzy! Call 911! Call 911! What kind of HATEFUL INSANITY is Ms. Walker spewing when everything is going soooo well with Muslims in the West?

Brenda Walker is a heroine. The ADL must be called to task for what they have done to Ms. Walker. Ms. Walker’s writings on VDARE may be seen here. Walker also has two blogs: Limits To Growth, and Immigrations Human Cost.

I’m in shock right now. Sometimes you can’t see what’s right in front of you. There are allegations coming from Dr. Kevin MacDonald that Jews, specifically the ADL, are the instrumental players in pushing these horrible Hate Crimes bills through Congress.

I don’t know the exact magnitude of the “defense” Jewish community’s exact role, but I have to admit, it seems massive, just as it was on immigration. I also can tell you anecdotally that my own views on Hate Crimes law — a strangely egalitarian idea that all unprovoked crimes should me viewed harshly–have proven quite unpopular in my discussions with the “affiliated,” from the Havurah crowd to the Modern Orthodox crowd, who want special punishment for targeting “minorities.”

Why? Because it protects Jews, right?

Is this mentality influenced by Jewish law, which is inherently unfair, in that it differentiates in punishment between Jew and gentile, the latter receiving harsher punishment for breaking Noachide Law? Is it because Jews believe they are entitled to special protection as a chosen persecuted people?

Please note before commenting that you are on The Kvetcher, not Jewlicious or Jewschool, and merely noting that MacDonald is an “anti-semite” does not mean we can simply dismiss his allegations, particularly at a time when anti-American and anti-Western groups like the ADL are hard at work destroying our cherished national freedoms and civil liberties. Free speech appears to be targeted under a thin veneer of preventing violence.

Not all of MacDonald’s essay makes sense, of course, and some of the historical details of the Jewish community seem quite strange, but I am concerned with his core assertion. Are Jews the critical force behind these horrific Hate Crimes bills? Are Jewish “defense” groups at the forefront of those seeking to limit our freedom of expression? And if so, what are we going to do about it? Keep in mind, the Left and the Right of the affiliated community will be in lock-step on this one for different reasons.

But are the reasons really so different?

Randall Burns, a left-wing writer on VDARE (yes, Virginia, they do have Leftists on VDARE), wrote about a very interesting and much needed organization called, “Progressives for Immigration Reform.”

Now you might ask, “What kind of progressives support a curb on immigration?”

That would be the kind of progressives who are concerned with workers wages and benefits, and environmental issues. The kind that don’t trust that corporations always place our national interests over their own bottom line.

Do I consider myself a progressive? For the record, I do not. I am not in-line with progressives on many social issues, prioritize concerns very differently, and anyway, I find the term “progressive” a bit self-righteous and condescending, perceiving politics in an overly linear fashion.

But I am sympathetic to those who do perceive themselves as “progressives,” and also see the hazards of continued mass immigration when we are already overrun.

Brenda Walker notes some disturbing developments about the drought in California. It’s rather harrowing. While I don’t expect VDARE to actively promote mass transit (though of course, I wouldn’t complain), I appreciate that Walker focuses on the deleterious environmental effects of overpopulation.

Aren’t such concerns unheard of on the right?

No, they are not.

Watch how one conservative republican mayor in Charlotte, NC, risked his entire career to build a light rail, changing the way North Carolina approaches transit problems. And yet the stimulus bill does little to ensure expansion of mass transit.

Progress By Pesach warns that despite their communal demand that the U.S. stop enforcing the labor laws our ancestors worked tirelessly to help enact, ICE still actually had the audacity to execute one raid.

It’s not over yet. Things were looking up, no worksite immigration raids since Obama’s election, until yesterday. In Bellingham, WA, 28 workers were arrested in an immigration raid at a remanufacturing plant and deportation proceedings have begun.

Oh, how awful.

The Seattle Times has the full story on this “urgent” situation which needs “reform.”

ICE officials say the 25 men and three women — most of them from Mexico — may have gained employment at Yamato using phony social security numbers and other counterfeit identity documents[...]
“The lure of jobs in the United States continues to be one of the primary factors fueling illegal immigration,” said Leigh Winchell, special agent in charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Seattle.
“ICE remains committed to investigating cases where the evidence shows employment laws are being violated.”

Nicholas Stix reports great news on VDARE via FAIR for Progress By Pesach, though.

This week, as a guest on a Spanish language radio show, President Obama stated his continued support for giving amnesty to 12 million illegal immigrants, which would force Americans looking for a job to compete with amnestied aliens for work.[...]President Obama said: “We’re going to start by really trying to work on how to improve the current [immigration] system so that people who want to be naturalized, who want to become citizens … are able to do it; that it’s cheaper, that it’s faster, that they have an easier time in terms of sponsoring family members.” Following that, President Obama acknowledged what legal American workers already know intuitively — that amnesty is not in their best interest — but then endorsed amnesty anyway. President Obama said: “And then we’ve got to have comprehensive immigration reform. … Politically it’s going to be tough. It’s probably tougher now than it was, partly because of the fact that the economy has gotten worse.”

Gee…why would that be?

The NY Times has savaged Marcus Epstein, with the usual drivel expected from the newspaper that champions diversity at all costs, even its own viability.

But the NY Times makes a truly bizarre leap forward in its editorial, “The Nativists Are Restless.” They seem to blame intellectuals the likes of Epstein specifically and the writers and editors at VDARE generally (yes, they did specifically finger VDARE) for inspiring the killing of an immigrant in Long Island by teenage thugs!

This is just an amazingly irresponsible inference. Teens who kill are not being inspired by VDARE, nor by Marcus Epstein. There are plenty of more…accessible and radical sites that are hooligan appropriate. This irresponsible editorial is not just shrill, it is libelous.

On the other hand, Steve Sailer and VDARE should take comfort that as they are strangely targeted by a NY Times editorial rebuke that culminates with a murder reference, of all things, well…we can assume that the diversity fanatics are starting to feel the heat.

But let’s look deeper. Why is it be that the Times feels it is necessary to mention Buchanan, the 90’s boogeyman of Neocons and social liberals? Perhaps because the Times assesses that Jewish support of mass immigration is shifting.

Perhaps we immigration reform minded Jews are resonating in the community more than we think we are. Strange that in an editorial about immigration, no mention was made about the Muslim riots in Europe, nor the “anti-Zionist” incidents in the U.S. Guess that stuff is harder to spin than an immigrant murder by teenage thugs and scary ol’ Pat Buchanan.

Anyway, please remember, questioning any aspect of current immigration levels — legal or illegal — clearly means you are in some way supportive of teenage thugs murdering immigrants.

Clearly.
